I pretty much like all pinball and snowmen, though.. A very lovely game. Can't recommend it enough. It's not pinball fx3, but we already have one of them. Great mood, the pinball stuff is interesting, the soundtrack is suitable cozy. It's exactly what it looks like. I rate it 5 chestnuts roasting on an open fire out of five.. I got a tonne of hours in this game. It's as good if not better than space cadet for windows xp. Unfortunately the top two hi-scores are way too high to be legitamate but it's still fun going for the hi-scores. One of my favourite pixeljam games. xxx. Snowball is a charming little game. A bunch of pixel kids get together and made a pixel pinball snowscape with assorted contraptions. So while wintery jazz music plays, your snowball careens around an obstacle course of snowbanks, abandoned railroad cars, fir trees, igloos, giant flippers, snowmen, targets and ice crystals. (There are even telsa coils, of all things. I don't know why. Clever children, I guess.) A large bonfire waits at the bottom to reduce your snowballs into so many tears, so better try bouncing it back to the top. That last aspect is really the only thing I dislike. Unlike a lot of pinballs games, once your ball gets to the lowest area you have a devil of a time getting it toward the upper part of the gamefield again. It's possible, but most of the time your ball will bounce around an area almost devoid of any of the fun bits, and even clearing the main play area still gets it to a section where it's all too easy to get it to slide back down again without really accomplishing much of anything. No, the physics of the moving pieces don't make much sense, and nothing else does either, really, if you think about it too much. Just accept that the premise is a wild mash up of a pinball machine with a Rube Goldberg device plus a healthy dash of A Charlie Brown Christmas thrown in. It's like a wildly nostalgic reimagination of the whole neighborhood of kids taking their toboggans and sheets of colorful plastic off to the hills between the primary school and the nearby farmer's field. And because it's just a game your nose hairs won't freeze off. If you lived it, you know what I mean. All the game needs are Steam trading cards and a few tweaks to getting the ball around the playfield and it would be nearly perfect. Additional playing areas and maybe even a construction ability would have been icing on the cake. But it's still a cheap little diversion for a bit: that's a frosty mittens-covered thumbs up from me.. A completely adequate pinball game. A few notable bugs and some achievements are stupidly hard, but fun overall.. What a bloodbath. I did NOT see that coming!. It's a bad game, so first that suck and to conclude 2 euros for this demo it's very expansive.Don't buy this "game". Got bored after 0.1 hrReally don't feel like pinball but a mess.Ball are too fast and small you lose the ball easily.The theme look nice but you can't keep the ball in zone to have fun.Only the lower part is somewhat fair and it super hard return higher.. It's one map, but it's like one dollar or less. I really enjoyed it (played around an hour, still play a few minutes here and there). Lots of nice little surprises in there.
